Two comedy clips
Hope you like these. I found them very entertaining. Keep your comments brief please. It's beginning to feel like homework for some so we don't want anyone to feel under pressure.

A hommage to one of the great bloggers of our time...
Yes, it's true, my post is a hommage to our beloved Norbert Cheeseman. At first I thought, "How could I possibly do Mr. Cheeseman justice, for I am a mere mortal." But then I picked myself up off the bathroom floor (don't ask...) and decided that the best way to post after Norbs was to return to his first post, with not the same clip, but the same actor/cyborg, Mr. Christopher Walken. His acting capabilities are beyond all other actor/cyborgs, and it awes me to watch him work....without any further adieu, here are two clips of Mr. Walken at his best:

Now, don't feel pressured to make full comments on both videos...I think that one comment encompassing the subject matter of both clips should be sufficient.
Thank you, and good night!

Clip selection
I wonder if we can take turns picking clips each week. Starting this week actually. It's a bit time consuming coming up with them every week and I think it would be more interesting if everyone had a turn doing it.
And how about calling the group C.S.I- Clip Scene Investigators

Premiere blog topic
Well now,
What a day, what a day, what a day!
Here we are at the new venue. I have so many people to thank for this blog. It's going to be such a great format to exchange ideas on these important issues.
Please feel free to continue commentary on any subject as long as you want; probably throughout the week until the next topic comes out. Whatever! Are these strict rulestoo tough for you?
Ok let's cut to the chase. Before you are a couple of clips of which I consider to be two highly regarded artists. Don't make judgements based on the clips alone. These are just a guidance to get your memories fired upagain. But they're good though.
Comment on anything you like about the clips. You can compare the artists if you like, stating your preference for one or the other, or any aspect of the clips you like. Or treat them seperately altogether.
Hope you enjoy.

Hello Norbert,
While it did elicit a laugh from me, I would have to say, after my analysis, that the devil umbrella video joke had a moisture content below 5%. Dry, very, very dry. Yet humourous. I enjoyed it. Tally ho and all that great stuff!! See you at work today, you probably won't get this email until later! T

Alright, it took me some time, but I do believe I have an apt analysis of the given material. You see, the vast majority of people in today's society are unaware that they no longer have a sense of humour or are able to think or speak for themselves. However, there is a small - but growing - group of people who do take control of themselves and do - but mostly say - what they want. These two groups clash, and have always clashed, on a regular basis. Forums like YouTube and other such websites are good examples of how the media acts as a kind of conduit for the clashes and confrontations that occur. Let me know what you think. Terry

Terry you have obviously reached the pinnacle of social commentary with your latest review. I continue to be totally astounded by your refreshing viewpoint.
You have opened up aspects of these videos which I had not given consideration. Such a thorough analysis was certainly not done in a desultory manner. You do honour to yourself and to the whole of Bonne Bay by this reviewus profundicus.
Enjoy the weekend

Good morning,I say good morning because I haven't been out of bed much today due the massive amount of gin consumed by my feeble body. Well I'm gonna jump right out of the gate on this one. I thoroughly enjoyed Terry's apt analysis on the videos in question. However I will try to take a more basic approach. Prank phone calls are fun, I partook in a few of those back in my hay day, and stores are the funnest to call. But all penis talk is not as much fun, if you want to call in and make a prank phone call I would do something i little more intelligent than talk about penises, I mean c'mon (no pun intended). Even the mediators would enjoy something a little more contrived and thought out, low brow penis talk is very 13 year old ish. But I do enjoy seeing the uppity old refined women get so flustered that they stumble over their own tongues with words. The prank phone call at the store, now thats genius. Thats funny, see thats what I'd think of. Thats some good wholesome fun there that the whole family can enjoy.Anyhoo, I'm not getting anything accomplished here today, so I might as well get up and get something to eat. Keep your stick on the ice, Brad
Hi,
For Brad and Terry, I'm Norbert's brother, and was a recipient of the earlier email. Just thought I'd give an analysis of the insightful youtube videos. One could surmise that the hosts' shameless disregard of the callers' inquiry about respect for H. Stern's penis, is really a nefarious right wing snub of the socialist left, while it attempts to oppress the real people who want serious answers.
Or, it can be seen as a window into a form of escapism and/or validation perpetrated by some who have been left professionally crippled by a society espousing traditional measures of success.
Or, it is possibly a few people just arse-in around.

Good lord. I'm responding to some type of forum full of Rex Murphy's. The control you all have over the english language is astonishing. I hope I'm not late in submitting my homework.I'm gonna take the side of the prank caller here-the average middle class jo. I'll use language I can understand, without having a th-sore-ass here.I believe thiese callers are reaching out because they have no voice. We are constrained by society's rules and are pressured to act in ways considerd the social norm. Problem is what is the norm, what standard do we use to evaluate it? Important questions we have to consider. These prank calls give these people a chance to be heard, to tell their side of the story whether they have a big penis or not. Just think about it, what a better place to be heard than with millions of listeners tuned in to the events that "shape our lives". Yeah right, media controlled by the government! Utube/internet are raw and unsensored, the way information should be distributed. We need these people with a sense of humour, to step up and give society a reality check now and then. Life is not all about the latest breaking news story, Gilmore Girls episode, and latest tech trends like a DOOVD player. It's about real people, the you's and me's, the problem yutes in society struggling to be heard. Not the social elite that think they make a difference.Or could be someone out for some fun, half in the bag on a dare
